Ina Pauwel’s Hen Weekend

It is a huge responsibility organising a Hen Weekend but as Chief Bridesmaid, this daunting task fell to me. Barcelona is becoming increasingly popular for Hen Weekends and I was really looking for a VIP weekend on a relatively small budget. Bcnbound provided just that. The apartment was beautiful and very central. We booked a shopping tour and found some one off items that no one in London would be wearing in a very chic Barcelona boutique and then accessorised them with bags and shoes from the Mango outlet store. After cava on the terrace we sat down to the set menu at Shoko, which was delicious and then danced the night away. It was truly a VIP weekend, we were treated like Queen’s without paying a King’s ransom.

Grace Milne’s Birthday Party

Turning 40 is huge event and should be marked accordingly. So 10 of us headed off to Barcelona to celebrate the occasion. We stayed in the most fabulous apartment, which had five double rooms all with their own ensuite bathroom, so it felt like a hotel but with privacy. We had cocktails on our own private roof terrace every night as the sun went down and then headed off out to some amazing restaurants and night clubs. Bcnbound were fantastic hosts and organised EVERYTHING, even keeping our fridge stocked with champagne. A truly memorable birthday.
